100% pure Makeup Review

The very first 100% natural brand I decided to try was 100% pure. I started with 100% pure because as a brand they received excellent reviews from women across a decent array of skin tones, skin types, and ages, so I figured they would be a great place to start.

My disclaimer and how I review products: I look at the quality of coverage/color, lasting power, skin changes, color options, and accessibility to the consumer. I am not a makeup expert. This product was not gifted to me by the company/brand nor is this review sponsored. So let’s get started!

The first product I tried from 100% pure was the Super Fruits Healthy Foundation. I decided to start with foundation because I was excited to try a foundation that was 100% natural and made with fruit pigmentation instead of minerals (which in the past have irritated my skin with prolonged use). I enjoyed this product because it was great as an everyday light foundation with the ability to cover up redness and minor discoloration. Plus, it felt just like my skin. The lasting power was decent; I would consider this a 7-8 hour foundation. The foundation worked wonders for my skin and my blemishes; it felt like a positive addition to my daily routine.

I also tried 100% pure’s Luminous Primer. I definitely enjoyed this product as well. It has also increased the overall health of my skin. I did see an increase in small blemishes on my cheeks but an overall decrease in my big breakouts.

The Long Last Concealer with super fruits was another product I tried and enjoyed. It works great on creating cleaning/covering faux pas around my eyebrows, as well as for basic everyday discoloration under eyes. I would suggest, however, that you use it with powder to reduce lines under the eyes. The average lasting power for me was 6-8 hours.

Overall, I was very impressed with the 100% natural products from 100% pure. I wish, however, they came in a larger range of colors for girls with brown skin. There are currently only eight shades and with a more cool undertone. I also wish that I could find these products in retail stores like Whole Foods to make them more assessable, given they are predominantly sold online.

All in all, I love 100% pure’s products and plan to continue buying their products and reviewing them.

I hope you enjoy this sip of tea, until next time.

Sip and Smile,

Yanitee
